Due to the Covid-19 pandemic that has resurfaced on the island at the beginning of this month, there have been only a few working days this month. The Covid-19 outbreak has forced many companies to stop working and to let their staff stay at home. We also had the Thai New Year, which is a long holiday in the middle of the month, which is why we have so few working hours this month. According to the government’s announcement, the construction site allows a maximum of 30 people at a time only. There’s a lot of uncertainty about the situation next month as the amount of people infected is climbing. Due to this, we can not effectively tell you the exact date that work will resume as normal, but as soon as the government gives the green light, we will continue our construction of this beautiful property.
FOUNDATION WORK
This month we focused on the structural work for buildings in the upper zone that have already had their foundation completed. This month we;
The workers installed the scaffolding to support the bracing beams of the building.
The scaffolding to support the floor slab of the building is being installed.
(Left) The reinforced steel bars are attached to each other before we can start pouring concrete. (Right) The post-tension slings are now installed and the engineer already went to inspect before we started pouring the concrete.
WALL WORK
Our wall work is continuing as normal and we are now in the mid-zone of the project. While we install the wall panels on the structure of the completed buildings, we have also started the wall plastering work inside the building.
The area of the buildings where structures have been completed has been cleared to prepare for the wall panel installation (Right) The wall panel has been delivered to the buildings and is ready for installation.
