Because of the decrease in infections in Phuket, Covid-19 restrictions are being lifted, meaning workplaces, schools, and restaurants are now open again. However, there are still restrictions in place from the provincial government that limit the number of workers allowed on-site to not over 30 people. Because of this, we have limited human resources and the structural work took longer than first planned. We are still seeing good progress in the middle zone primary structures, the lift structures, and the internal wall work.
STRUCTURAL WORK
The Lift Work
We have continued the lift structure work next to the building that we have completed structurally. Right now the progress is 1 level a week. This is because the number of workers has to be reduced on-site to adhere to the restriction order.
The worker tied the steel bars to reinforce the lift structure.
The Main Structure
This month we are working on the structure of the building in the mid-zone. At the beginning of this month, we finished the last level of the bracing beam and continued with the first-floor slab for the building.

The first-floor slab work has started. The scaffolding is already installed and the shutter boards formwork are being installed above it.

We tied the reinforced steel bars all over the area of the floor slab.
The concrete pouring after all the reinforced steel bars and the post-tension slings have been installed.
WALL WORK
We have started the plastering work on the wall panels to finish the installation. We have plastered it from inside the building outwards.

The walls have to be brushed and polished to make the walls smooth.
Material Preparation
We are currently preparing the material for the upper zone of the site, which we will continue once the restrictions are over. We are preparing the materials at the workstation and will transfer them to the cranes once the time is right.
