Project & Construction Update | May 2021

Project in Brief:

Active Construction:

• Foundation work in progress for several buildings.
• Structural work in progress for various buildings.
• Structure completed for most buildings. 
• Wall panels are completed for various buildings.

This month our construction has been limited due to a number of factors. Mainly because of the order set forth by the Phuket provincial offices only allowing the gathering of 30 people or less in one place. This has limited the number of workers that we can use on-site. To further comply and assist our teams we have instructed them to not work close to each other and to abide by social distancing at all times.

However, we are now preparing the materials needed for the structural work. As soon as the restriction has been lifted, we will continue building the main structures. At the moment we are working on the lift structures to complete all of them as well as the inner wall work.

STRUCTURAL WORK

There are only a few signs of progress in the building structure work this month. We continued the column work for the building in the upper zone and the lifts of the building.

The structure work on the upper zone carrying on as planned, the scaffolding has been installed to support the new level of the floor slabs.

WALL WORK

For the wall work this month we have installed the wall panels in a few buildings in the mid zone and have been busy with plastering the interior walls where the installation has been completed.

Material Preparation

We are currently preparing the material for the upper zone of the site, which we will continue once the restrictions have been lifted. We are preparing the materials at the workstation and will transfer them to the cranes once the time is right.
